Why does ReadSpeaker give you several options for voices? Many reasons come to mind. Some learners prefer a male or a female voice. Some learners may have hearing loss or impairment, and some voices may hit the lost or impaired tones. Others may choose a different accent for the French or the English voice. Personal preference drives the selections.
In this case, WHO is easy to define: every learner. Each learner can select the voice or voices they want to hear.
If students have been listening for a long time, encourage them to re-engage with content by changing voices. Select one voice for one subject and a different voice for another subject. Changing the Reading Voice can help the learner refocus on their learning.
The Reading Voice option is available in BOTH webReader and docReader.
